Hi everybody. This is my letter to you saying "Thanks for stopping by!" Whether you are a first-time or casual reader, a daily lurker, or an active poster, I appreciate you giving up some of your valuable time to read my stuff.
I truely feel that I get more out of my blog than anybody else. On the surface, I get to vent my frustrations with the annoyances and my enthusiasm for the fun stuff, which helps me enjoy WoW more. And on a slightly deeper level, the ideas you've all shared with me in the comments are hugely helpful. I read all the comments, whether posted soon after the article is up there, or if its a comment on an older post (not that any of my posts are that old yet, but give me time). And on a level deeper still, there's the whole "shared experience" and feeling of community as we all give insite to our thoughts and experiences in the WoW universe through our own blogs and comments to eachother.
So you can see, that without you guys reading, commenting, and writing your own blogs, I only get the surface satisfaction of venting here.
So a big fat THANK YOU to all of you.
That leads to my question of "what can I do to make it more better????"
Some thoughts that often sit in my mind are:
1) Do you guys care about the order I post?
I usually write my entries during the day, and then post them all at roughly the same time. Do you read them in chronological order, such as how a blog reader might put them (reading them oldest to newest)? Or do you read them via the website, in which case, you're presented with the newest one first?
2) What do you think of the length of the posts?
When I get on a roll, it would seem that I get a little wordy. What do you think? Does it feel like the posts drag on and on, or is the length ok in general?
3) What content do you like?
Since I don't have the hugely informative and interesting content and style of a BRK, I rely mostly on sharing my emotional reactions and anectodes. Are there any topics you think "oh boy, here he goes on this boring topic again", or "oh boy, here he goes on the exciting stuff i like to hear about".
Please share your thoughts either via a comment here, or email me if you'd prefer. I'll read all of 'em, and perhaps even incorporate your feedback into future posts.

I read the posts in the order you post them. Works fine for me!
I wouldn't worry about being more informative a la BRK. He's one of a kind and has inspired a lot of us to start writing. I like the shared experience aspect of your blog, so keep it up!
I'm not one for editing my own stuff, so I can't say "tighten it up" to you with any authority! lol
Looks good to me. I'm enjoying reading the blog as your going through what I will be going through in the future and its nice to get to see your mistakes, rather then your perfect runs. Keep it up, I find it very informative.

Q: "what can I do to make it more better????"
A: Use a spell and grammar checker: "more better?" C'mon!
Q: "Do you guys care about the order I post?"
A: Nope.
Q: "Do you read them in chronological order, such as how a blog reader might put them (reading them oldest to newest)?"
A: NO freaking clue! I currently have several WoW related feeds on google reader and I use the "Next »" bookmark to go through each and every new one and I don't even bothered looking what order they show up! :) Although I assume it's chronological order...
Q: "What do you think of the length of the posts?"
A: Wordy, but I can't complain as I too start thinking about writing a paragraph and when I'm done I sometimes have written a full novel... :)
Q: "Does it feel like the posts drag on and on, or is the length ok in general?"
A: There's been the occasional post where I skipped a considerable chunk of it, but normally I read them top to bottom, so I think they should be ok!
Q: "What content do you like?"
A: Everything and anything. There's not a single blog in my list from where I didn't learn something and the reason that it is so is because I don't control what the bloggers put in there, so I get different views, different interests, different experiences.
Bottom line: if you think some experience of yours is worthy writing about, we'll read it!
Q: "Are there any topics you think "oh boy, here he goes on this boring topic again", or "oh boy, here he goes on the exciting stuff i like to hear about"."
A: If you feel you can put out some theorycrafting, just do so. If you're not into theorycrafting and would do something else, do so. Bottom line: just write about what YOU're comfortable with. Avoid writing about stuff you don't know well and you should be fine, unless do some research and get to know that better! (And don't infer from here that I'm saying you've done it!).
C ya around,

I was wondering if anybody'd pick that one out. What, you dont like making thing's "more better"?
:-)
Thanks for the feedback guys>
I enjoy reading all of your posts, it is nice to get the perspective of someone who is just now reaching 70 and still learning/experimenting and asking questions.
I caught the 'more better' and thought it was fine. I knew what you were saying.
